R. I. P. Gilbert J. Thomas 1989-2008

My brother was shot and killed by a federal marshal on the island of St. Croix last night. I ask for your prayers for my family from you while we go through this.

He was a nice person, he cared about his family. He was only 18 and was finally figuring out what he wanted to do in life. I wrote a memory of him here.The last time we saw each other was last year when I introduced my boyfriend to my family. I spoke to him last week on my way to work.

    omg.. i’m almost in tears. i’m SO very sorry for your loss. wow, that hit close to home.. my little brother is 15. you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. goodness.
