I watch the Sean Bell case and it’s depicting similar injustices when compared to my brother’s death. Unfortunately there aren’t Al Sharpton types on the island of St. Croix. I’m happy that they got him involved to make people aware of the “trigger happy” people.

Even today, a random person that I met told me that the article that was written seemed like it was written by someone else, not a journalist. I reread and it does seem like it wasn’t written by an amateur down to the details of the gun specifically. I am not surprised because people simply email stories to the paper sometimes, but that’s just me speculating right now. A great deal of people that I met seem outraged about how it happened. I’m growing extremely suspicious of it.

Today I went to get the funeral books reprinted. They wanted to charge me an extra $20 for the books when I had printed them 2 days ago and it cost only $47.25 then. I couldn’t figure out how they came up with over $60 this time around. So, I told them it was impossible and tried calculating it right there. They insisted that somehow the clerk had made a mistake or given me a discount, so I cooled down and went to my mom’s vehicle(I took it to run errands). I calculated it (hello, I do math! No one can fool me when it comes to $$$$). I took my time and calculated a total of $47.25. I went back in and told them, “I’m sorry but I didn’t fail math, I took this in school. I did pretty well and it was enough to get this figured out.” They tried telling me that their system calculated. I said, well your system is wrong. I did apologize after because I told them I have been stressed out all week because of all this money and I just want to pay for my brother’s memories and that’s that but I didn’t want to get ripped off that’s why I went there. Whew* thankfully it was settled. It was their error. They were charging me for 900 folds when it should have been 225.

Communication is Key! I didn’t know they had 900 on the paper.

I also took photos of my mom and her husband tonight.

My brother did like him. He’s a pretty interesting guy. I took him out to dinner when I first met him and he was cool then, he’s pretty cool now. He’s pretty supportive of my mom during this time and I am thankful for that.

I like this photo of my mom :-).

They don’t usually like taking photos so lucky to get this photo :-D.
