I went to watch the Michael Jackson movie, This is it, this past weekend (Friday). I will have to say that I really enjoyed it. My opinion: he was absolutely brilliant!
The thing is I’ve never really gotten the chance to appreciate Michael Jackson as I should have. Why? Well, he wasn’t my favorite artist (just being honest) even if I was familiar with his music and dances that even I tried doing! So watching this movie brought the more human side to him than his iconic side and celebrity. It was sort of weird watching the movie and knowing he’s dead… watching all the concert details come together…
As I said, he was brilliant! So many of the artists who worked with him must have been so fortunate to work with him. I do want to own this movie when/if it gets to DVD.
