This weekend was fantastic despite some set backs (see previous post). I actually had to call my mom and tell her what happened on Friday so the gift I decided to send out is delayed until I’m fiscally able to.  Happy Mother’s Day to everyone.

I’m fortunate to have such a wonderful, supportive mother. I see much of myself in her (well my parents in general) it’s nice to see the reflection of them on my life at the moment. Possibly having gone through similar situations that I’m going through and raising us.

Saturday:

I decided to drag Jose to Cole’s SNL party after we pigged out on Taco Bell (I think fast food might be my best friend for the next few weeks if I am still in this situation). He seemed happy about going to the party after the fact (he thought he was going to be probed with questions). It was actually perfect to get my mind of things. I am also a huge Golden Girls fan and can you really believe that Betty White is 88 1/2?

Cole bribed me with some cheesecake also (delicious). However, I do think the sangrias got to me. I really love the photos that were taken of Betty White (shown after the commercials).
