Hand Model

So, a couple of weeks ago I was asked to take photos of my hand for a subway ad! I thought this was pretty cool! I can’t wait to see the results.

I posted a photo of my  hand after I left the studio on Facebook (following). The manicurist on staff had painted my fingernails in this gorgeous blue that I had never tried before.

So, I went to Sephora to see if I could find something similar.

I didn’t succeed but here’s something I tried:

I realize that I just need to be bolder about my choices.  Usually I’d use red, black, dark blues… basically darker tones. This spring, I’m excited about breaking out of my shell for something bolder… or out of my usual palette. Talking about palettes, you should check the progress of my painting from the previous post. It looks completely different now:
