Having multiple sclerosis means that you may not be able to walk when you wake up. Or that you may suddenly have impaired vision. Or that your memory will fail you for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are different for everyone – the only certainty is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day.

I joined a team at my company to Climb for Multiple Sclerosis in March.

It’s 66 flights of stairs. Which is a very short distance for this disease to be honest. So far my friends and social network has helped me raise $250 and I am deeply honored and proud of this. Thank you to Charlene, Emily, Adam Jackson, Christian, Fuze, Samuel, Tony Eddicott for donating!

Personally, I didn’t know anyone with MS but a quick survey among my friends and everyone knew someone. I researched and I was saddened.

Everyone knows that I try to do a Breast Cancer Awareness charity every year but MS is now going to be added to that list. If you want to donate (any little bit counts), you can do so by going here: http://bit.ly/ClimbForMS

This money doesn’t go to me directly but it goes to patients.

“The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will use funds collected from Climb to the Top to not only support research for a cure tomorrow, but also to provide programs which address the needs of people living with MS today. Because we choose to climb for those who sometimes can’t, because we choose to donate to Climb to the Top, we are getting closer to the hour when no one will have to hear the words, ‘You have MS.'”
