This is an old post but I wanted to write about it. A  couple weeks ago we hiked over 7 miles the week before heading to Cabo. Emily arranged as usual. Sidenote: Emily is pretty amazing at arranging these trips and named us: The Urban Hiking Adventure League of Justice Conquistadors haha.

Cliff (who took most of these photos) and I  got a large breakfast after I realized that the tickets were going to be about 30 bucks per person.

Not wanting to pay that, Emily and her Matt decided that renting a van would be cheaper (it was).

We piled into the bus and drove to Harriman State Park.

We gathered at the parking lot, did some stretches and went on our way.

One of the cool highlights on this trip was a rock formation called the lemon squeezer (We went through a narrow passageway and climb up a short but steep rock face). We had to wait for some other folks so we relaxed and replenished our energy with some power foods and more carbs to burn.

Here’s the GPS Data of the Hike:

We took 05:32 for the 7.62 mi. Exhausted but accomplished, we headed our separate ways.

I love hiking. Can’t wait for the next one!
